Plot :
This is a story of four masters, each of them is a master in his own field... . Dinesh is an engineer with a scheme to make millions. . Babu is a taxi driver, who can laugh and make others laugh under any circumstances...He has a remarkable gift of falling in love at the wrong moment, with the wrong girl... . Mangalsingh is a master criminal, ruthless and unscrupulous, yet other criminals dont look at him as a brother....They fear and avoid his path... . The fourth master is Pratap...The less said about him the better, because words cant describe him... . All the four masters get together, when Dinesh meets Nita a millionaires daughter; and thinks that his dreams and ambitions are going to come true...Instead he finds himself trapped in the most vicious circumstances of fate i.e. chased by police for a robbery which he did not commit..Persued by Mangalsingh who wants to kill him and threatened by a Mr. Jeevan and his gang who dont want Dinesh to recognise a girl named Rita, who is the only one who can prove his innocence..Mangalsingh gives a surprise, suddenly changing from an enemy to a friend of Dinesh and Babu joins them in search of Rita, who escapes when they have almost caught her...And finally when she is found..She is found dead. . Nita loves Dinesh, does her best to help him out of his predicament, but Manglsingh ultiamtely double-crosses him by selling his life to Jeevan for fifty thousand rupees...Nita and Dinesh are reunited in the end. Ravi (Ravishanker Sharma in real life) is one of those few composers in whose compositions, melody, rather than orchestral embellishment, predominates. Having started his career with Goel's 'Vachan' in 1955 Ravi scored music in more than 100 films. After the success of 'Chaudhvin Ka Chand' (1960) he was ranked with the major composers of that time. His hummable songs such as 'Ek woh bhi Diwali thi..' sung by Mukesh, 'Wafa jinse ki bewafa ho gaye..' sung by Mukesh are as much popular as 'Sub kuchh loota ke hosh men aye to kya kiya..' sung by Lata, which is profound and steeped in sadness.
Ravi who came to Bombay in 1950 to be a singer had no formal training in classical music. Yet as a music director he composed some of the most memorable classical songs such as 'Lage na mora jiya, sajana..'sung by Lata and 'Darshan do Ghanshyam..' by Hemant Kumar, Sudha and Manna Dey. His song 'Jeevan jyot jale..' sung by Asha from 'Grihasthi' won him the Sur Singar Samsad award for the best classical song of the year. It is not an exaggeration to say that Ravi's songs have been beggars' delight as the latter survive by singing his melodies such as 'Ek paisa dede o babu..', (Vachan), 'Garibon ki suno woh tumhari sunega..' (Dus Lakh). During the 33 years of his career, Ravi had his share of success. Unlike some of the modern composers he has not become a part of the rat race. Producers who care for sweetness in melodies still come to him.
Looking back on life, Ravi gives credit to music director Hemant Kumar and director Devendra Goel for having shaped his career as a music director and acknowledges grateful thanks to his wife (she died in 1988) for having stood by him when he was a struggling 'nobody'. When he feels lonely Ravi gets lost in listening to the melodious music of the 40's. It never fails to rejuvenate him and inspire him to create something worthwhile.

Shakila acted in films such as Aaar Paar and CIDBorn as Badshah Begum on January 1, 1935, Shakila was introduced to cinema by her aunt, who went on to manage the acting careers of Shakila and her sisters, Noor and Nasreen. Shakila has acted in films such as Guru Dutt' s Aar Paar (1956) and CID (1956).She was also known for featuring in songs such as Baar Baar Dekho, with Shammi Kapoor, and Ae Mere Dil Hai Nadaan.
After appearing in more than 50 films in a career that spanned 14 years, she married and decided to move to the United Kingdom. She had a daughter called Meenaz, who died in 1991.
Shakila's nephew, Nasirr Khan, shared the news on his Facebook page. He wrote, "With a heavy heart I have to inform you all that my maternal aunt (my moms older sister) Shakila Aunty has passed away. She was a star in her own right in the 50s and 60s. Babuji dheere chalna, pyaar mein zara samhalna.
