Plot
At exactly 12:00 Noon at Dadar Railway Station, Bombay, two gunshots are fired, instantly killing Maya (Sabita Chatterji), the wife of Raimohan (Rehman). One of the assailants is none other Maya's sister, Bani Choudhary (Waheeda Rehman), and a gun is recovered from her handbag. The second assailant flees on a motorcycle, meets with an accident, and is instantly killed. The police charge Bani with murdering her sister. Faced with overwhelming evidence against Bani, Her lawyer boyfriend, Ajay Kumar (Guru Dutt) must race against time to come to the truth behind Maya's murder.[3]Cast

Storyline
Bani Chowdhury and solicitor Ajoy Kumar are deeply in love with each
other. But their world comes crashing down when Bani's cousin, Maya is
found dead in the first class compartment at a railway terminus in
Bombay. Bani who had gone to the station to receive Maya, is charged
with the murder. A distraught Ajoy with the help of his assistant
Motilal Sharma begins to comb the country for every available clue. And
just when everything seems lost he gets a breakthrough. Written by

Good thriller during rising time of Indian Cinema
Its always good to
remember your old good days and watching these movies are perfectly a
pleasurable experience. Late 50's and 60's is considered as the golden
time for Indian Cinema and this movie proves the statement. It was one
of classic suspense thriller of that time, with star cast like Wahida
Rahman and Guru Datt sahab. The story is tightly written and basically
revolves around a murder. Beautiful mix of romance between Wahida and
Guruji and humor part added by Johny Walker makes it a perfect one to
watch. Gurudatt Sahib is playing a lawyer who is in love with Wahida ji
and fighting a case of murder for her, when she is charged with it. The
way story unwraps layer by layer is really a lesson to learn. The movie
is better than most of modern time thrillers.
