Plot
An idealistic journalist (Devgan) gets weary & tired of witnessing the reign of crime, police corruption & injustice in his city & decides to wage a one-man war against the psychotic king maker 'Tau' played by the legendary Amrish Puri. His journey costs him his limbs & loved ones as he goes on a vigilante style brute fest right into the lair & dark world of the two faced Tau & his cronies. Death & Destruction follow the war path.Cast

Storyline
Prashant Verma is employ as a reporter with 'Navkranti' a media-house
that publishes daily newspaper. The unlawful activities and injustice
taking place in his surrounding frustrates him to the extent of
single-handily revolting. The gang affected by Prashant's behavior is
headed by the notorious Tavu who in retaliation abducts and sexually
molest Prashant's sister Shalini which made her commits suicide. This
sets off Prashant in a wild rage to deal with all wrong-doers

Ajay Devgan is excellent. A Very Underrated movie
Divya Shakti is a very
entertaining action movie well made by the director. A young Ajay Devgan
delivers a terrific performance as the cowardice man who transforms
into a angry courageous man and gets pushed to the edge. Set in Mumbai
where corruption is everywhere Ajay see's. Where he works as a
journalist, the police, the politician (Shakti Kapoor) who owns a womens
welfare but is actually a brothel. And Amrish Puri the ruthless
gangster of the area who gives Ajay a hard time. Amrish Puri was
brilliant as the villain. I loved him in this movie as much as i loved
him as mogambo in Mr India. Raveena has a small role but looks pretty,
but this is a male related movie. This movie is one of Ajay Devgans most
underrated movie, If you haven't seen it then do watch it.
