Directed by Deepak Bahry, the film is a remake of the Ek Hi Raasta (1977) which starred Rekha. Films under the title were also released first in 1939 and then in 1956. The film stars Ajay Devgan, Raveena Tandon, Raza Murad and Saeed Jaffrey.
Synopsis
Kubla (Raza Murad) is a terrorist and would like to rule over India. To do this, he needs vital information about the Indian armed forces, and he recruits an Indian army officer, Vikram (Mohnish Bahl). To get this information, Vikram kills another soldier and ensures that Karan Singh (Ajay Devgan), yet another army man, gets the blame. This goes according to plan, and Karan Singh is on the run. Then Kubla and Vikram abduct Col. Choudry (Saeed Jaffrey) and his daughter, Priya (Raveena Tandon). They give Bhagat (Kulbhushan Kharbanda) Singh two-and-a-half hours to locate the information or else the Colonel will be killed, and Priya (Raveena Tandon) raped. (Retrieved from IMDB)Cast

Storyline
Kubla is a terrorist and would like to rule over India. In order to do
this, he needs vital information about the Indian armed forces, and he
recruits an Indian army officer, Vikram. In order to get this
information, Vikram kills another armyman, and ensures that Karan Singh,
yet another armyman, gets the blame. This goes according to plan, and
Karan Singh is on the run. Then Kubla and Vikram abduct Col. Choudry and
his daughter, Priya, and give Bhagat Singh two and a half hours time,
to locate the information, or else the Colonel will be killed, and Priya

It's all about the beefcake
We got this by mistake,
it was in the sleeve of the 1956 B.R. Chopra film of the same (or
similar) name but different plot. Despite the presence of Raveena Tandon
as the attractive love interest, Priya, the film is really all about
the manly virtue, smooth moves, moral rectitude, good looks and killer
instincts of the good soldier Karan, played by Ajay Devgan. Karan is the
son of the dutiful orderly to the colonel. Being the son of an orderly
exposes Karan to some class discrimination from a jealous rival. Karan's
father gets to do some tearful scenery-chewing as he pleads the
righteousness of his son, who is being framed. There is a kind of funny
musical number (the disco-like Yaar ko Milne) with a bunch of soldiers
dancing around in camouflage fatigues. Possibly one of the more lurid
scenes is after Karan has been tortured, and cut and bruised, he
practically gets a lap dance from Priya when, during the number Pyar Ke
Kitne, almost literally rolling in the hay, she slides down his body for
some crotch-worship, then gets all wet in the time-honored Bollywood
tradition. I pretty much tuned out the savage bloodbath Karan
perpetrates as he saves the day during the final section of the movie.
