Plot
Jaidev (Akshay Kumar) and Gayatri (Ashwini Bhawe) are childhood lovers who are separated with some misunderstanding. Jaidev becomes a successful music director in Mumbai. Gayatri goes to Mumbai in search of Jaidev. There she meets Mala, who is the lead singer of Jaidev's music company. She addresses herself as Jaidev's wife(but she is not) in front of Gayatri unknown to Jaidev. Gayatri, heartbroken leaves from there with her daughter. Jaidev fires Mala due to her careless attitude towards music. Jaidev searches for a new voice for his company. There he meets Guddi (Vandana) who is a fabulous singer. Jaidev launches Guddi and becomes a successful singer. Meanwhile Jaidev falls in love with Guddi. Guddi unaware of the fact meets Abhimanyu (Ravi Kishan) in Darjeeling and falls in love with him. They come back to meet Jaidev and Jaidev decides to get them married. Abhimanyu is killed by Jaidev's rivals who want to kill Vandana to close Jaidev's music company. Vandana still in depression of Abhimanyu's death realises Jaidev's love for her and plans to get married. She bumps into Gayatri. Gayatri's misunderstandings are cleared when she knows about the truth. She decided to tell that to Jaidev but Vandana tries to stop her. During the wedding some goons attack Vandana and she dies reuniting Jaidev and Gayatri.Cast

Storyline
Jaidev Anand is a celebrity, and lives a fairly isolated life. One day
he comes to the rescue of a young woman, Vandana Acharya, and falls in
love with her. Vandana respects him, but falls in love with another man,
Abhimanyu. This news shatters Jaidev, but he decides not to tell
Vandana anything. Then the jeep in which Abhimanyu and Vandana were
traveling is attacked by an assailant named D.K., and as a result
Abhimanyu gets killed. Jaidev is sorry for Vandana, but gets his hopes
up enough to propose to her, and to his joy, she accepts. The plans are
on for an early marriage, but before that could happen Vandana meets a
single mother, Gayetri, and her son. It is then she finds out that
Jaidev is already married, and also has a son. What possible reason
could Jaidev have for not sharing this information with Vandana?

Just had to review this
Yeah, it's so bad that
it puts everything Akshay has done in the past 4 years to shame. And it
also stars Ravi Kishen back when he was a ten times more atrocious
actor. Ashwini Bahve and moon Moon Sen are the only saving graces (to a
minuscule extent). But their screen time is limited. Raja Murad is in
hamming overdrive mode. And the female lead is insufferable. I guess
Akshay used to accept movies without thinking even once back then.
People say that Bollywood is in a sorry state right now. They should go
through the retarded output of late 80s and early 90s before they come
to this erroneous and premature conclusion. There is no point discussing
about the forgettable soundtrack, even though the movie is based on the
music industry to an extent. One of my annoying friends made me sit
through this. Thankfully, after this July, I will cease to have any
contact with him.
