Plot
Balraj Dutt (Amrish Puri) is a bodyguard of Babaji (Dara Singh), who, while dying, makes Balraj promise to take care and protect his grandson Nihal (Milind Gunaji).Years later, Raj Malhotra (Akshay Kumar) and his sister are dining in a restaurant, after which they are attacked by unknown man. The man tries to rape Raj's sister, before she commits suicide.
Heartbroken by this incident, Raj sees a similar incident and saves a girl from molesters. This is observed by Balraj, who is impressed by Raj, who hires Raj as a bodyguard for his daughter Komal (Twinkle Khanna). She initially dislikes Raj and tries repeatedly to get him fired, but slowly she starts liking him after he saves her life from an attack. Things get complicated when he recognizes Nihal as the person who molested his sister. Now, Raj tries to kill Nihal.

Storyline
An orphan boy is adopted as an infant by Baba Thakur who gives him a
name Balraj Dutt and treat him equally as a family member. Since then
Balraj adores Baba Thakur as his mentor; when Baba Thakur gets murdered
by Zorawar; Balraj swears to avenge this killing and bring up the
grandson of Baba Thakur; Nihal with tender care. Balraj gets into an
encounter with Zorawar leading to his arrest by the police. Years later
when Zorawar is release from jail he will now go to any length to
destroy Balraj. When Balraj gets wind of this he hires a personal
bodyguard, Raj. But problem persists when Raj recognize Nihal as one of
the assailants who mercilessly murdered and rape his sister - that does
not end here as Raj wants Nihal dead at any cost. Written by

Kuku Kohli after PHOOL AUR KAANTE and SUHAAG came back with ZULMI and ANARI NO.1(a comedy)
ZULMI is unintentional comedy
The first half is bore and follows the same route The twist in the story with the re-emergence of Milind Gunaji is well handled but then the film comes across too routine
Climax is feeble too
Kuku Kohli seems stuck in 80's, the film is boring Music is okay, the bad copy of PARADISE is bad
