Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II (Hindi: वैसा à¤ी होता है, English: It Happens That Way Too) is a 2003 Indian movie starring Arshad Warsi. Shashanka Ghosh, the creative driver behind the launch of MTV and Channel V in India, marks his debut as a director with this film.[1] Running in many parallel threads, it is in equal parts a comedy, satire, crime, and a Hindi masala film. The film is most famous for its songs "Allah ke Bande" performed by Kailash Kher and "Sajna Aa Bhi Jaa" performed by Shibani Kashyap.
Things go asunder one day when he finds out his brother's been shot dead — a brother he's hardly acknowledged in the past. Agni finds out and, following an argument, throws him out of the house. Puneet goes on a drinking spree that leads him to a park bench where he witnesses someone being shot. He doesn't know it yet, but this is the end of his life as he knows it.
He saves the injured man — a gangster called Vishnu (Prashant Narayanan) — and the act lands him squarely in the middle of Bombay's famed gang wars.
The war between ganglords Ganpat (Anant Jog) and Gangu (Pratima Kazmi) is a second thread in the film. Ganpat is the dominant kingpin, and Gangu is the perpetual second-in-place who's never given up her dreams of displacing Ganpat as top don.
The soundtrack features seven songs by composers including Vishal-Shekhar, Shibani Kashyap, Saibal Basu and Abhinav Dhar and written by Sadaquat Hussain, Vishal Dadlani, Abhinav Dhar and Virag. The soundtrack listing is given below.[4]

Reception
The film did poorly at the box office in most parts of India. However, a small audience in urban India did find it interesting and have compared it with the likes of other cult classics.[citation needed] Arshad Warsi and Prashant Narayanan were highly appreciated for their performances.[citation needed] Singer Kailash Kher, however, won the most plaudits for his brilliant voice in the chart-topping song "Allah ke Bande".Trivia
- Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II is not a sequel to any other film. Part I and Part III are in the same movie. Part I runs for about 9 minutes before Part II starts, while Part III runs for less than a minute before the end credits roll.
- In the credits, the filmmakers acknowledges the Coen Brothers, Quentin Tarantino, Ram Gopal Varma, Takeshi Kitano, Mahesh Manjrekar and Ramesh Sippy as inspiration.
- Singers Kailash Kher, Shibani Kashyap and Rabbi Shergill make a cameo in the film and sing their songs on-screen.[2]
- Actress Mahima Chaudhry and ex-MTV VJ Maria Goretti make special appearances.

Storyline
After being asked to leave by his Policewoman fiancee, Agni Sinha
(Sandhya Mridul), Punit Sanyal (Arshad Warsi) is lying drunk on a street
bench in Bombay, when he comes across a wounded man on the street, shot
at by hoodlums owing allegiance to Gangleader, Gangu Tai (Pratima
Kazmi). He decides to assist this male, Vishnu (Prashant Narayanan),
owing allegiance to yet another crime boss, Ganpat Mohite (Anant Jog).
Vishnu and Punit become close friends, though Punit is not asked to
participate in any criminal activity. When Ganpat finds out that Punit's
brother was a police informer, and his fiancee a policewoman, he
instructs Vishnu to kill Punit, but Vishnu does not do so, and Ganpat
issues instructions to have him killed also. In the meantime, Punit is
abducted by Gangu Tai and held there. Gangu has taken a liking to Punit,
as he reminds her of her son. When the police start an investigation
against Gangu Tai, they assign Agni to go and arrest her, which she

Suppperb script supported by some great acting and good music
Arshad Warsi is at his
comic best (once again after Munna Bhai) in the film. He refreshes the
movie with his presence and brings subtle humor to scenes which could
have turned quite cliché otherwise.. the ones I like best are the ones
where he learns how to shoot and the other one in which he is made to
sit next to Gangubai - his little squeak just throws the seriousness
outta the sequence in a split second.
Equally intense in his performance is Prashant Narayan as Vishnu- the gangster with the simple, no-hassle attitude to life. The sorta chemistry between him and Arshad is somewhat reminiscent of the one we have seen in Satya movie between Bhiku and Satya. The friendship is like a Innocent, benign relationship budding amidst the morass of material conflicts, gang wars and pillage.
The director has done a great job at dealing with different issues in a lighthearted yet non-trivializing manner. At one end of the spectrum is the gory scenes with people mindlessly shooting one other, and yet there are moments which let you wander in the mushy,idealistic world of romance, friendships, ideals and all.
Music is another great add on to his movie.. Personal favs - Allah ke bande, Jism and Sajna.
