in lead roles. The film was released on 6 May 2005, and managed to
succeed at the box office, despite receiving a negative critical
response. It was one of the first Bollywood films to feature adult
comedy. The film spawned two sequels, Kyaa Super Kool Hai Hum and Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3.
After a roller coaster ride of mistaken identities and comedy of errors, the film reaches its crescendo when Karan is about to wed Kiran at the temple, but he is not knowing that she is a transvestite but Rekha and D.K. reach on time, where D.K. takes Kiran away and Rekha reveals that it was she who used to call and write letters to him on name of Kiran, Karan realises his true love and reunites with her. The police are on the verge of arresting Rahul as the rapist.When Rahul was about to be arrested, the true rapist reveals himself who turns out to be Uma Shankar Tripathi (Rajpal Yadav) and is arrested by police. Rahul and Urmila reunite and the film ends.

Plot
Rahul (Tusshar Kapoor) is sincere and hardworking whilst Karan (Ritesh Deshmukh) is just the opposite. Both are best friends and cool wannabes. When the city is rocked with a series of rape and killings, the police with psychiatrist/psychologist Dr. Screwvala (Anupam kher) are in search of this dreaded Serial Killer, and Rahul becomes the prime suspect, yet being innocent. Things take a funny turn when the job of nabbing Rahul is entrusted to a violent lady Inspector called Urmila Martodkar (Isha Koppikar) who enters Rahul's life on a pretext, and tries to seduce him into showing his true nature. Rahul falls in love with her and she loves him back, not remembering she is on a police force mission. Storyline
Karan Pandey and Rahul are two friends who work in a fashion designers
office, and live in a rented apartment. When they are unable to pay the
rent, they are dramatically evicted, but sneak their way back in within
hours as the building is being renovated. Karan meets a beautiful woman,
Kiran, and falls in love with her. He finds out that she is the
girlfriend of his boss, D.K. Bose, lives in a bungalow in Malabar Hill,
and owns a Mercedes. When Bose leaves for a business trip to America,
Karan and Rahul move into his apartment and through his telephone Karan
touches base with Kiran and begins his romance with her. In the
meantime, Rahul is told by a street astrologer that he will find his
soul-mate in a girl who has a birthmark on her right breast. Rahul does
not find one but several women with a mark on their breast, and does
recover from several embarrassing incidents. Then beautiful Urmila
Martodkar walks into his life, birthmark and all. It looks like Karan

Unbelievably funny!
When life sucks you
become weary with trying to make the best of things. It so happens, I
was in that very situation when I rented Kya Kool Hai Hum. A friend said
it's a movie that will make me laugh and feel better. Well, she was
right: I howled with laughter! KKHH is funny, sick, dirty, crazy...
Tushar and Riteish are a great pair and reminded me of other classic
comic pairs such as Salman-Aamir (Andaz Apna Apna) and Ajay-Aamir
(Ishq). This movie comes with fantastic twists and turns and just makes
you feel sorry for the characters for having such bad luck... Isha K.
does an excellent job in portraying a feminist cop (especially when she
wants to blow T's brain off in the beginning). Neha D. does a good job
as well. Anupam Kher made me laugh just as hard as the other two and so
does his co-actor. Being a psych major in university, I can safely say,
we're not all like that...lol. Raj Yadav delivers his classic comic
style and adds to the grand theme well. All in all, this movie is a good
watch (not suitable to watch with slightly stringent parents...lol)
especially to take away the blues!
