One day, while going to school, Lucky's bicycle tire goes flat and she ends up being the victim of attempt-to-rape by a young Russian. She manages to escape and hides in a parked car while the rapist is chased away by the car's owner, Aditya. Unaware of his "cargo", Aditya drives the car to meet his father until he is stopped at a check-post. That's when he discovers Lucky sitting in the back seat. During the checking, a terrorist attack occurs and utter chaos ensues. Aditya and Lucky manage to escape and hide in an isolated graveyard. Meanwhile, Sekhri and Negi recruit a private investigator, retired Colonel Pindi Das Kapoor (Mithun Chakraborty), to locate their children. Just as Colonel Kapoor finds the graveyard, Aditya is forced to leave with Lucky when she accidentally drinks water poisoned by the terrorists. Aditya then manages to persuade a local doctor to take him and Lucky in, where she receives treatment. When the two eventually leave the doctor under pressing circumstances, a series of events ensue as they struggle to return to their families. Aditya and Lucky soon fall in love and are finally found by the Colonel, upon which they reunite with their families and get ready to fly back to India. Upon reaching the airport, the Colonel promises to return Aditya's car to him by ship, while Aditya and Lucky bid farewell to Russia and the Colonel.
The film topped the Chennai box office on its opening weekend.[3]

Release
This film which was made on a budget of ₹ 650 million grossed to only ₹ 720 million in India. The Indian Box Office declared it "Semi Hit". But it was also released in Russia and there it grossed to ₹ 700 million which is declared a "Hit".[2]The film topped the Chennai box office on its opening weekend.[3]

Storyline
Mr. Sekhri is the Indian Ambassador in Russia, and his Chief Assistant
is Mr. Negi. Sekhri is widowed with a son named Aditya, while Negi is
married and has brought his wife, Anjali, and two daughters, Lucky and
Dhara, with him to Russia. One day while going to school, Lucky's
bicycle has a flat tire, and she ends up being molested by a young
Russian. She manages to escape and hide in a parked car, and the
molester is chased away by the car's owner - who is none other than
Aditya. Unaware of his "cargo", Aditya drives the car to meet his
father, until he is stopped at a check-post. That's when he finds out
that Lucky is on board. Then terrorists strike out with bombs and guns,
and chaos breaks lose, the telephone lines are down, and there is no
electricity. Aditya and Lucky manage to escape and hide in an isolated
graveyard. Meanwhile, Sekhri and Negi recruit a private investigator,
retired Colonel Pindi Das Kapoor, to locate their children, which he

Lucky - A Lovable Watch!

Sapru's 2005 flick 'Lucky - No Time For Love' is classy film. A charming
entertainer, coupled with fabulous direction, silk editing, good
performances and ear-pleasing music score. Lucky has its share of
minuses, but lets the give the markers its due, a well-made film in all
aspects. Lucky proved Lucky for its distributors at the box office and
was one the biggest openers of the year. Lucky, from my side, without a
doubt gets a Thumbs Up!
Pluses: The film has been directed beautifully, the locations are breath-taking. The film's script is cute and well executed. The film's music is a Brownie point. Adnan Sami has done a splendid job. Good performances. Mithun Chakraborty continues his magic with Lucky. He plays the role of the intelligent officer to perfection. Salman Khan is a scene stealer. He's superb. Sneha Ullal gets her job right. Kader Khan, Ravi Baswani and Vikram play to the gallery.
