Storyline
An ex-boxer Baldev
Choudhary has had a stain in his boxing career. He wanted to wash it
with his son Angad's success, but times were hard and a financial crunch
kept him from achieving this dream. Though Angad pulled through fine,
Baldev never forgot who ruined his chance. An opportunity strikes Baldev
in the form of a T.V. Show. He trains a local boy to get into this
media hyped boxing show, but is ditched for a better coach at the last
minute. Baldev's younger son Karan has just launched his first music
album. Realizing his father is in a crises, he gives up his dream of a
musical career to get into the game of boxing. Karan works hard and wins
all through thinking that his victory will bring the two pillars of his
family together. After winning within the nation, he wins all over the
world. The final match is with the current world heavy champion.

3 deols together is good enough reason to watch these film
First thing first which strike at the beginning of the film is that Dharmendra at the age of 73 looks amazing.
Story is equally strong as the star cast.Perfact way to bring 3 deols together. A impulsive and ambitious boxer want to fulfill his dream to become first world heavy weight boxing champion form India.When he cant(due to false doping charges) he tries to achieve it by his elder son who finally refuse to box as the game has no importance in the country and one can't feed their family with it. For the sake of family he disappoint his father.The younger son is handicap so he want to box but he can't.
There are very nice twist and turns in the film. Relationship between Sunny and Dharmendra is excellent. The great point of the film is that here, sons try their best to achieve their father's dream.
Reason of Sunny to fight at the climax is also convincing and touchy,
Film is little lengthy and has some unnecessary melodrama and unwanted stage song of Bobby. But it also has some emotional and touchy scenes of Dharmendra with Kiron Kher and Sunny .
One can say this time son has relaunch their father in a big way. Its definitely better than "rocky Balboa " as it has great emotional value and better reason to fight. Must see .

Apne (Ours) is a 2007 Indian Hindi sports drama film directed by Anil Sharma. It is the first film to feature Dharmendra and his real-life sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol together. Previously Sunny and Bobby had worked together in Dillagi (1999) and Dharmendra and Sunny had also appeared together in Sultanat (1986) and Kshatriya (1993). Plot
Former Olympic medallist boxer Baldev Choudhary (Dharmendra) is disgraced while competing for the World Heavy weight championship when a betting syndicate falsely accuses him of drug doping. He tries to erase this stain upon his honour by training up his son, Angad (Sunny Deol) but financial difficulties keep them from achieving his dream. He trains a local boy to get into a media hyped TV boxing show, but is dropped for a better coach at the last minute. Baldev's younger son Karan (Bobby Deol) has just launched his first music album. Realising his father is depressed, he gives up his own dream of a musical career to become a boxer and please his father. Karan persists with training and wins a series of fights, thinking that victory will bring his family together. The final match is with the current world heavy champion; Karan is tricked and he ends up paralysed in a hospital bed. Baldev, who wanted to wash a stigma is now about to lose his son. When Karan reveals the world heavy champion cheated, Angad decides to return to boxing and win the title for his father. He eventually brings the world heavyweight champion belt to India in triumph, however meanwhile Karan suffers liver damage and requires a liver to survive. A guilt stricken Baldev pleads with the doctors to use his liver, but the doctors reject the idea. In a stroke of luck, a liver is given to Karan through an unknown donor. In the end, Baldev who was going to give up his life for Karan, is instead alive and happy with his family.Cast

Apne opened to a very good response throughout the country especially in the Northern territories most notably Punjab where it had a mammoth opening becoming a gigantic blockbuster in the long run.[2] The rest of the country saw a good opening for Apne. The Gross Collection of Apne was Rs. 450,544,575.[3]Overseas the film also opened to a fantastic response, especially in the UK.
