Plot. Big Brother is a story set in modern India which revolves around a
small middle-class family composed of Dev Sharma (Sunny Deol), his wife

Storyline
S.P. Sharma lives a
middle-class lifestyle in Delhi, India, along with his wife, and son,
Devdhar. His wife passes away, and Sharma re-marries Sitadevi when
Devdhar is only 3 years of age. Sita cares for him as if he were her
own, even after giving birth to a son, Akash, and daughter, Anjali. Now
Sharma has passed away, while all 3 children have matured. Devdhar gets
married to Aarti. Anjali is seduced by the son of the Home Minister,
Manohar Shinde, and has acid thrown on her face, disfiguring her. An
enraged Devdhar kills the culprit, abducts a number of men who have
raped and burned their daughter-in-laws, and secures enough money to pay
for plastic surgery for Anjali, whose face is eventually restored.
Devdhar and his men are now feared by everyone in Delhi, so much so that
Prime Minister Urmila asks Manohar to tender his resignation, publicly
denounce his son, and re-locate to Bombay, which he does. She also asks
Police Commissioner Kudheshwar Negi to apprehend the Gandhi family....

When the film was launched in 2001, the original cast was Sunny Deol, Amisha Patel and Sudhanshu Pandey. The film was to be produced by Vijayta Films. The title of the film was " Devaa". The film was shelved for unknown reasons. When the film was restarted it was titled " Gandhi" and Priyanka Chopra had replaced Amisha Patel and Emraan Khan had replaced Sudhanshu. The film was was now to be produced by Guddu Dhanoa and only " Presented" by Vijayta Films.The film title once again changed, this time to " Deodhar Gandhi". Good action movie!
Big Brother (formerly
Deodhar Gandhi) is a good action movie! Only Sunny Deol could pull this
one off well. Big Brother is truly the 21st century Ziddi with lots of
action (not as explosive as Ziddi but good anyways) and a different
plot. Action is good for the most part (a little toning for special
effects could help). This movie is a surprise hit at the BO as it really
does carry a social message. Recommended for all action fans
(especially all Sunny fans)!! I can give this a 9/10! Some things could
have been different, but Sunny fans will like it! I look forward to many
more great action movies for years to come. All the best Paaji!!

Plot
Big Brother is a story set in modern India which revolves around a small middle-class family composed of Dev Sharma (Sunny Deol), his wife Aarti (Priyanka Chopra), his mother (Farida Jalal), brother Imran Khan and sister Prachi. Although they lead a simple and peaceful lifestyle, an incident occurs that changes their lives forever. The family is left with no choice but to leave Delhi and move to Mumbai in disguise. They start life afresh and all seems well until the ghosts of the past surface again. A full of motivation which somehow make you realize that there has to be someone who could change the system. Things reach a point when Dev Sharma is prodded by his mother to take a course of action which not only avenges their plight but also take on the cause of the aggrieved in the country as a whole. The movement so created gets the support of the woman at large and the infirm who proudly proclaim him to be their Big Brother.Music
