The story is based on the crazy things that happen all in one day at one funeral. It is a remake of the 2007 British comedy Death at a Funeral.[1]
The music was composed by Raghav Sachar and Adnan Sami. The lyrics were provided by Sameer. The title song "Daddy Cool" was based on the Boney M. song of the same name.[2]

Plot
The story focuses on Steven (Sunil Shetty) and his wife Nancy (Aarti Chabria) who currently live with Steven's mother and plan to purchase their own flat soon. The film begins with the death of Steven's father. Steven organises the whole funeral by himself and the guests begin to arrive. Steven's brother Brian (Aashish Chaudhary), a renowned novelist living in Mumbai, also arrives. Everyone is expecting Brian to give the farewell speech since he is a novelist, however he has nothing planned, and he is intending on Steven to do the speech. Every time Steven tries to start his speech someone always interrupts and the speech is delayed. A short man named Andrew (Rajpal Yadav) introduces himself to Steven and asks to speak to him in private. Andrew tells him that he was Steven's father's gay lover. Surprised, Steven tells Brian this. Andrew blackmails them and demands money to keep this a secret. By this time, Steven's crazy family arrive. This film is the story of one mad and hilarious day at a funeral and how things get from normal to mayhem in just a few hours.Cast

Storyline
Wealthy Goa-based
Income Tax Officer Douglas Lazarus passes away after exercising on his
treadmill at a speed of 10.5. A funeral is arranged, relatives are
notified, and his eldest hen-pecked son, Steven, prepares a farewell
speech while most attendees would have preferred the second son, Brian, a
successful Mumbai-based writer, to do so. At the funeral, things
hilariously spiral out of control when Michael, the fiancé of Douglas'
gorgeous niece, Maria, notices movement within the coffin.

A Good Comedy
The title rang a bell
and it made me remember one of those disco songs by the group Boney M
and indeed the title is just that. But having not had much chance to
watch the promos of this movie, it was something that I had not expected
but having seen that who the producers gave me a small clue as to what
it would be like. A father passes away and his eldest son arranges for
the funeral and invites close family members and family friends. But one
person is unknown to all and all hell breaks loose when this person
says something that no one had expected, not even the family members of
the deceased.

This is directed by K. Muralimohana Rao and produced by Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria.
What can go wrong at a funeral? Well the best person to ask is Sunil Shetty, as this role really suited him. He is not just an action hero and films such as "Hera Pheri" have proved that he is also good at comedy and this confirms this. All the actors are also good and that includes Chunky Pandey, Aftab Shivdasani, Javed Jaffrey and also Prem Chopra. Its good to see the old villain do a role such as this.
This is a good comedy genre movie and the story line ensures that the audience is not bored as there some hilarious moments in the film and will give one a good laugh. There are some scenes which some may find as inappropriate but nevertheless, they do not ruin the comedy.
