Drona is a 2008 Bollywood fantasy adventure superhero film directed by Goldie Behl, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Kay Kay Menon and Jaya Bachchan. Drona's special effects shots were worked on by EyeQube[1] headed by Charles Darby and David Bush. The movie features Indian martial arts such as Kalaripayattu, Chhau, Gatka, and sword fighting.[2] It was filmed in Prague, Bikaner, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Namibia. The trailer was attached to Vipul Shah's Singh is Kinng (2008) and Raghav Khattar's Marathi film Vishavnath (2008).
Made on a budget of 45 crores the film earned less than 15 crores and was a disaster at the box office.[3]

The movie was produced with budget over ₹45 crore (US$6.7 million) on special effects with a VFX experts of 60 working on the movie for over 6 months. Mainly the team has been collaborating with EyeQube Studios with Eros to achieve the perfect quality effects. Sukanya Verma of Rediff gave the movie 2.5 stars and mentioned, "Considering its fantastical theme, Drona is officially escapist and hence isn't obligated to broadcast logic beyond conveying 'good wins over evil' and 'conquer your fear by facing it' message." Storyline
Orphaned, lonely and
neglected Aditya grows up in Great Britain, living with his abusive aunt
and cousin, Rajesh, and the abuse grows worse after the passing of his
uncle. Aditya will soon find out that he is not alone in this world - he
has a mother, Rani Jayati; a sweetheart in Sonia; he is watched by
angels; and he also has a virtually indestructible arch-enemy - Riz
Raizada, who had killed his father, the legendary Drona, to secure the
secret of the Amrit Manthan - and is now all set to kill the Rani as
well as Aditya himself.

Real Bad Movie
After the failure of
2050 Love Story. I was expecting the directors in Bolloywood wouldn't
dare repeating mistake. But this one, to amaze me, went beyond all the
limits of flops.
Abhishek, could not act, as he must have forgotten or director had strict warning for him not to act. Lot of things in the movie has no direct or indirect link to the main story.
Priyanka Chopra, I pity her. She did same mistake after 2050. But never expected from Abhishek to act in such movie. Well, everyone makes mistake. This was big mistake though.
I heard, The villain was overspent for appearance. But seriously it was the worst role he must have done. Too much over acting and too much non-sense.
