Oh, My God (stylised as Oh, My God !!) is an Indian film directed by Sourabh Shrivastava released on 5 December 2008. The film is about an employee who puts more time trying to get people to invest in a money-making scheme.
God (played in human form by Saurabh Shukla) tries to help Rajendra become successful but is constantly frustrated as Rajendra fails to recognize the opportunities.
Plot
Vinay Pathak stars as Rajendra, a salesman who wants to make it big in life but through ethical ways. Suman (Divya Dutta) is Rajendra's wife, who stands by her husband. As Rajendra continues to fail in his various money-making schemes, Suman pleads with God to help her husband.God (played in human form by Saurabh Shukla) tries to help Rajendra become successful but is constantly frustrated as Rajendra fails to recognize the opportunities.

Storyline
Mumbai-based Rajendra
Gupta, works for Global Investment Group, but is more engrossed in
trying to get people, including his co-workers, to invest in a savings
scheme. He even puts off being a parent, much to the displeasure of his
wife, Suman, who he has been married to for over five years. His
continued overtures to get other employees to invest backfires, and he
not only gets alienated but also fired. His life will get even more
complicated after Inspector Rana suspects him of stealing 10 Crore
Rupees from IDL Bank of Commerce.

Well-Acted & Delivers A Good Message!
'Oh My God' hasn't been
seen by many & that's a shame, as this 2008 flick is actually
nicely made. The performances are rich & the execution is simple,
yet decent.
'Oh My God' Synopsis: An employee puts more time trying to get people to invest in a novel money-making scheme. Things turn upside down when God shows up...
'Oh My God' talks about human greed & how life should be led by being happy, rather than being greedy. The message is indeed good & the narrative remains interesting. It never gets preachy. The Screenplay works. Although, the first 30-minutes, when the story builds up, are a bit dull. Sourabh Shrivastava's Direction is simplistic. Cinematography is perfect. Editing is fair.
Performance-Wise: The Biggest Strength of 'Oh My God' are in its performances. Vinay Pathak is extraordinary as the common man, who wants to make it big in life with honesty.. He's real & affecting all through. Saurabh Shukla as God, is priceless. Rarely do we come across an actor as brave & uninhibited as Shukla. Divya Dutta is wonderful as Vinay's doting wife. Gaurav Gera, Harsh Chhaya & Mushtaq Khan are superb in cameos.
On the whole, 'Oh My God' deserves a watch.
